Excused Absences

Parents have five business days to excuse an absence. Please use the form below to excuse your students absence. A parent/guardian must complete this form and office staff will contact parent/guardian for verification. Cases in which notes are not received within five days, will be referred to the students administrator for approval. Please allow up to two school days for attendance to be updated in ParentVue.

To excuse your student from a school absence, please use our Excused Absence Form.

Early Dismissals

You may use the online form below to alert the office that your child will be leaving school early. This information will be emailed directly to office staff. We do ask that you submit this form at least one hour in advance to the time you will be picking up your student to allow for processing. By submitting this form, you do NOT need to call the office to report the early dismissal but office staff may need to contact the parent/guardian to verify the dismissal request.

Please keep in mind if you are requesting an early dismissal during a lunch period (4th or 5th period) there may be a delay in getting the early dismissal pass to your student. Please plan accordingly for a possible delay since your student may be in transition from lunch to his/her class. We appreciate you patience.

Please plan for the following when coming to pick up your student for an early dismissal:

You will need to have your photo ID when you come into the building.

Please allow time to process your request and have the pass sent to your students classroom.

To alert our staff to an early dismissal, please use our Early Dismissal Form.

Your students alpha secretary will receive notification of the early dismissal and will send a pass to your student.
