Student Parking Passes

Student Parking Passes for the 2026-2027 school year will go on sale for rising Seniors starting on June 2, 2026. Details are as follows:

 

Parking permits will be sold during all lunch periods during the school day on June 4 and 5.

Additional purchase dates will be announced soon. Purchase dates for rising Juniors and all other student drivers will begin in July.

 

All student drivers will be assigned a specific parking space for the school year. Students will be able to select their parking space from a map of available spaces when they turn in their application and payment. Parking spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Students purchasing parking permits need to bring the following items with them:

 

A completed parking permit application. Copies of the application form are available in the main office or can be downloaded at this link. Applications need to be completely filled out, to include parent signatures and vehicle license plate information.

 

Payment for $100 in cash or check made payable to Gainesville High School. There will also be an online payment option on the school's Go Fan page starting on May 25, 2026. Students that pay online in advance should bring a screenshot or confirmation code when they submit their application.

 

Students must bring their driver's license with them. The yellow temporary driver's license with their learner's permit is acceptable. By state law, students must be licensed drivers (not learner's permit holders) to purchase a high school parking permit.

 

Rising seniors will have the opportunity to paint their parking spaces for the school year for a separate fee. More information will be announced over the summer about parking space painting. Rising Seniors must purchase their 2026-27 parking permit and be assigned a parking space first before they will be able to apply to paint their parking space.
